    You’ll begin with a full professional hair and makeup experience at VHMA’s makeup studio, followed by private portraits at Ginny Filer’s photography studio - just minutes apart in Silver Spring, MD.

    • Full, uninterrupted professional hair and makeup application
      (approximately 1.5–2 hours)

    • Approximately 30-minute professional portrait session

    • Two outfit changes

    • Five digital image downloads, with the option to purchase additional images

  • The Mommy and Me Experience is all about celebrating you and the beautiful bond you share with your kids.

    Start with a stress-free and all-about-you makeup session. Then, it’s all about capturing those sweet interactions with your kids in front of the camera at Ginny Filer’s Silver Spring studio.

    It’s casual, interactive and less about posing and more about playing. We can hang in the comfort of the studio or step outside to embrace the neighborhood charm, it’s all about the connection between you and your kiddos.

The Unfiltered Series is a collection of sessions centered on connection — whether that’s with someone you love, or with yourself. Work with pro makeup artist Valerie Hammer and Ginny Filer Photography to capture the authentic you.

  • Most people come in a little unsure. Not because they don’t want photos, but because they’re not sure what it will feel like

    Will it be awkward? stiff? a little uncomfortable?

    Maybe.

    But then, something shifts

    The music starts and we begin moving and you settle in

    And it stops feeling like a photoshoot

    It feels like time set aside to slow down, to be seen and to just be yourself.

Grab your bestie and get glam with a fun retro photoshoot. Choose your decade, your style, and we’ll take fun photos that will make you nostalgic for a bygone era.

  • The Retro Glow-Up Party is all about having fun. You and your friend come in. We dial you up in whatever your decade of choice inspired hair and makeup. You bring the outfits. We bring the vibe. Then we create images that feel like the best sleepover you ever had, but elevated and done beautifully.

    This is not about looking perfect.

    This is about feeling electric.
